10.1 inch Memoryboard

I LOVE this board. It just makes everything so much easier for my mom with advancing Alzheimers. I can remind her I am coming over, then reminder to get ready, then let her know I'm on my way. Before, I would call and share all three things, only to arrive and she wasn't ready. The Memoryboard has been a game changer for us. We've discussed getting a second board in the future, as she continues to decline.

My mom lived with us for many years until her memory started to fade too much for us to be able to give her adequate care. Every morning before she woke up, I would write on a whiteboard what to expect for the day so that she could remember what was going on. When I needed to move her into Assisted Living, I was really worried about her memory and how to contact her if she couldn’t hear her phone and not having her whiteboard, she was going to be really sad. It was recommended that I check out Memory Board and I’m so glad I did. I ordered it immediately and put it in her new apartment on day one. I made sure that I reached out to all family and friends and gave them an opportunity to send her messages and pictures as well. She looks forward to it every day and always comments every time we visit how much she loves her Memory Board. We can remind her when we’re coming to visit. Remind her of activities that she would enjoy where she lives. It’s sitting right where she can see it from her favorite chair. It’s a lifesaver to all of us and we love it. Thank you so much for developing this for us.

Whilst trying to figure out the best way to support our mum who's memory is almost non-existent, I said to my brother, what we need is a screen which we can put messages on remotely. And guess what, it was already out there! It was a real no-brainer to try one. Mum likes to see pictures of her great-grandchildren, but as she can't use a smart phone she's had to rely on me being there to show her pictures. So this is fabulous. It would be nice to also upload videos - but not sure how that would work without user input at her end. And she's definitely not up to that!
I also experienced really excellent customer service. On the first board we bought, the display went after about a week. After a quick troubleshooting step, I was told that we would get a new board. I also asked if it was possible for the board to arrive more quickly than the original as mum was already used to getting messages and was missing them. Sure enough, it was dispatched as a priority and arrived much more quickly.
All in all, a brilliant idea, well executed and with excellent customer service. Thank you!

This Memoryboard feels like a miracle. I sometimes feel disconnected from my mother in law if I’m not there every day and it hurts a lot. Sending notes and reminders makes me feel more connected. We remind her of activities, wish her a happy day, remind her when we are coming, and send fun photos of our pets. The lack of subscription is the biggest blessing. It is worth the cost because of that and it is such good quality yet so simple to use. My husband and I use it and both get notified if they other posts. It feels like such a connective use of technology that keeps us all in the loop. Thank you for creating this. We are so grateful.
